A few weeks back Parallax released the verilog source code for the Propeller chip. That opened up a lot of possibilities for making your own custom Prop chips with an FPGA and some verilog coding. This link shows one simple application.
I see a picture in the SB from Garth showing he has Verilog code running on his DeoNano. I finally decided to join the FPGA fun and ordered a BeMicro CV board yesterday.
Thanks for the link.
Here's Gareth's picture.
On neat feature of the software implementation is the use of the LEDs as an indication of which cog is running..
......errr can I boot up another cog....hmmm let me check the LEDS.... brill......
