LMR's (delayed) 2008 Olympic challenges!

How to participate:

Enter a robot the usual way (Front page of LMR, top left). Write a comment on this very page, below here. In that comment you should link to your robots page, and if not obvious, let us know which LMR-Olympic discipline it is participating in.

Examples:

• Make a running robot - Enter the robot, write a comment below, including a link to your robot, and write that you enter it as a participant in the discipline "Marathon".
• Make a robot that detects a ball flying towards it, and tries to hit it - enter it as a ping-pong-participant.
• Make a robot that looks really stupid with a silk band - enter it as gymnastics..

The prize: 

First of all - like the OG - what you win is glory. Long lasting street credibility!

Who will win:

Like the human-based games, the challenge will end at August 24, 2008. At that time we will see on this page, who has entered participating robots.

Out of these robots, the one(s) with highest vote(s) in average will win!

NEW: Delay.. We will wait for at least 2 robots participating, and the IRL OG has finished. Then we will ask if any more are on their way, and only when that is not the case, we will move on to the ceremony :)

Small print:

• Doping is allowed! (over-powering motors and code-hacking)
• Dedicated robots are the best, but of course you may enter an existing / pre-made robot in the contest too. If you at least make a special video of it where it displays it's ability at a dicipline.
• If in doubt of anything, the ref makes up the rules as we go along.
• Remember to buy lots of cool laser cut stuff from our sponsor! It is extremely cheap and nice work!
• It is only possible to enter your own / self made robots.
