where to report site related issues.

Hey guys,

Just wondering where any site related issue should be reported to? maybe a new forum area can be created for things like this?

Anyway, Just noting that that the shoutbox only appears on the blog page and the main home page. it doesn't appear for me on any other pages.

It's not a bug ;)

Wow, are we going o have a way to report bugs now? This thing is being so organized :D

Erh.. contact me for now if there is anything.. Or write it here, perhaps. Heck, I do not know. Dan?

Anyway, regarding the shoutbox: Its not a bug, it's a feature :) Ppl where crying that the blogs did not get enough exposure, it's an atempt to fix that.

We have also altered the top-menu to optimize some navigation. Hope it works well for you all :) Or else let me know.

I could see it reducing some

I could see it reducing some communication between the folks that are on here often. I think it helped to promote some open or free communication and alerts when people had posted.

Maybe it could be under a shortened blog post list?

Again, I think it's been very useful and a great open communication tool for the folks that are on here often. To have to go to a specific page to view it, instead of watching it while possibly reading a post or other things  would seem to hamper that openess.

I was trying to find a quick

I was trying to find a quick example, but what about have the blogs list above the shoutbox, but with the ability to shrink and expand it in a similar way to the tree menues. An example is on youtube. if you go to a video, you can view the comments or hid them with the little arrow widgit to the left of the little headng. it's all over their pages it's also seen next to the "video responses" and "text comments" among several other areas.

While we're on the topic of problems

I was in the same boat recently when I had trouble (still am) posting video from Blip. Rik was kind enough to help when I posted it as a forum but still. I chose Blip because it was listed in your options but while I can cut and paste the URL to firefox with no problems, it gives me random video on this site. I tried the embeded option but that gave no video at all.

Thing is, without the ability to contact someone in charge on this site other than to post a public forum I couldn't work out wether I'd done something wrong, or if the problem is with this site or their site. I spent a couple of hours trying to post video and so far the best I can do is a text link.

Don't take this the wrong way but you say this site is so organized, is that just because there is no way to report faults?

I am saying that there are

I am saying that there are no one in charge :D

If anyone should be in charge, I guess it should be me, but I would not know who to go to, I also had the problems with Blib, so I just started to use youtube and Google video..

I guess it works like this; If the problems are big enough, they will pop up often enough, enough people will talk about them, and eventually I will see if I can make somebody fix it.. if not someone says "I can fix it".

See the "About" page, top right for more.

We need a captcha

We need a captcha horribly.

With this site becoming more and more popular, bots are starting to pop up every now and then, and it will only get worse.

Drupal actually has an awesome Captcha program that is one of the best out there. and it wouldn't be hard to integrate it into the signup process.
