jklug80 for editor!!

Hey, I think jklug80 should have powers to delete postings that are not very good.
Example upon example of he's good atitude, one here:
http://letsmakerobots.com/node/17#comment-2357
(personaly I think the shout-post should be deleted, and the guy should have a link to the best practice page in he's PM - it is such waste of space with jklug's comments, and mine etc.. Just delete it and ask the guy to come again.)
BOA; Where you making special editors-profiles? I vote for that guy to have some more power, to clean up & PM people that their postings have ben removed, please read best practice and come again.
Perhaps jklug80 should be editor of best practice as well?
(If he wants to, of course)
If cowgod agrees and BOA can fix the profile, and jklug80 wants the role, it is a go!
There is like 2-3.000 people in here a day, we need to do some tidying so it is worth it for all, and not a place full of SHOUTING AND LONG LIST OF HOW DO I DO EVERYTHING???
:)
Hurray!

I'll get on it right away, sir
Agreed. OKay, I've built a profile which should allow someone to administer forum nodes indiscriminately.
As an example, I've have made myself a "Node Admin" and subsequently modified my "Big Chaser" node. What I found was that people tended to raise points and I (or someone else) answered them. So, what I did was to put the answers into the main forum item in a structured way and then delete the questions.
Take a look. I'm sure you'll see the difference 5 minutes cleanup can make. There was a big irrelevant bit in the middle about PIR which Frits posted about because he was ranting at me for being thick, so I asked him to remove it and make it into a "component".
You'll see all the content is all still there, but the 20 comments "well done" are gone.
Basically, I think this is where we should be going and Frits is in agreement.Basically, Frits wants to cut down on the rubbish and I think this is the way to do it.
I hope anyone who posted "well done" or the like doesn't take offence and I believe folk should continue to encourage each other, but once the wish has been read, it can be removed.
Also, there's not enough use made of the rating system. Very few folk seem to be rating posts. If people find a particular post to be good they should be rating it as good instead of saying "well done". (The little stars down at the bottom of the robots.)
jklug80 is Node Admin. (Yay!)
WHAT! I already read every
Indeed
I second jklug's nomination!
