Materials:

1 picaxe 28x
2 servos hooked up to 6 & 7 on the board
1 laserpen hooked up to 0 on the board

How to:

Download the attached program
Enter your text in it it, what is to be written by the laserr
Enjoy :D

This is the crappiest tip/walkthrough I ever made. But I just made it work and it is late, I should sleep, and I know there will be a week before I get to even look at it again..

What does it do?

Object Avoidance Navigation

Started out building a basic rover that uses IR for navigation. It's been a long wait, waiting for various parts, reading up on connectors, components, basics, but finally have it ready. I'll post a video sometime later, for now only pictures. The rover is mostly metal construction and very sturdy yet reusable. I can take it apart and build a different configuration

Before starting out, I set a few objectives for building Antares.

Object Avoidance & Scheda worship

Well, here's to starting my first robot!

This bot is going to be the standard first robot that's shown here.

It will have the standard two wheels, but I will be adding a slider to the front of the chassis so it's not always toppling over, and I don't have to worry about balance as much this way. It will probably be half of a ping pong ball or something that size.

What does it do?

Cruising around avoiding obstacles via ultrasound

This is my first robot - or more correctly my recent version of my first robot. I will post some video later. It has gone trough some changes since I first assembled it a couple of weeks ago - mostly in body design. I followed fritsl's guide on how to make your first robot http://letsmakerobots.com/node/17 but with the SRF05 instead of the Sharp infrared sensor. The code is copied from fritsl's post.
