Wireless surveilance system..

Hi, all, this is a bit of a random night post, but, i need your help...i need a cheap way to make a surveilance system..

I have a CCTV camera module that looks like that, and no, it's not wireless, doesn't have a receiver. It only has Audio/Video cables and a power cable. Is there a cheap way to make this work using bluetooth? I only need to spy from 5 meters away. Btw, i want to be able to receive the video from my laptop.

How to make a controlled Arduino Robot via Bluetooth by using an Android Device

Can you Please teach me How to make a controlled Arduino Robot via Bluetooth by using an Android Device :D

I found some Application in Play Store about the Bluetooth controller, it is called Bluebots ,a Bluetooth remote control for robot. (see below)

NFR24L01 bluetooth module and SPI

Hi

I am working on my first robot. Ibased it on an ArduinoMega128 and can make it drive a pre-programmed pattern. I now want to control it via bluetooth from my android phone. For this I was given a small BT module yesterday. It is based on the NFR24L01 chip, and contains no serial interface, but rather the default SPI that the chip communicates with. I know the Arduino has an SPI interface on leg 50-53. However, away from connecting, I have no idea on how to begin.

I know I need to add the #include spi.h to my Arduino sketch.

Bluetooth and XBEE

Hi, I am working on a project that includes contolling a robot wirelessly though visual basic 2010. And I was researching and found that if you use an xbee it is the same code as when using a usb cord. But i want to use bluetooth instead. And I was wondering if the code is the same when using bluetooth (like the xbee). I assume that it is the same because it is a form of RF. But I need to know from LMR if it is the same code with Bluetooth or is it different.

Thanks,

Bluetooth AT commands

Hi I bought bluetooth module from ebay. I connected to the atmega and comunicate with my laptop. It works great. I set (in atmega) communication 9600 Bd, but hyperTerminal (auto-detect) shows 2400 Bd. I tried lots of tutorial how to change baud rate (or name, key, ...) using AT commands, but Hyperterminal does not work and the other also. They connected to bluetooth, but when I try wrote something it does not shows in terminal (keboard do not work :D in terminals ). Any idea how comunicate with bluetooth using AT commands? Sorry for my English :) .

Micro Magician robot controller - I can finally tick the project complete box!

I started designing this controller in December 2011. After 4 months and 2 previous revisions it will finally be shipping out April 2012. I think this is DAGU's best Arduino compatible robot controller yet!

Designed for small robots using small batteries, the Micro Magician is a 3.3V controller running at 8MHz.
Working from 4.5V to 9V means this constroller can run from a single LiPo cell or 3x NiMh batteries.
Reverse polarity protection means no blue smoke if you get your power wires crossed (reverse polarity diode rated at 3A).

Arduino Blutooth

Hi I have an android phone and i want to be able to send my text messages, emails, and other stuff to my arduino by using bluetooth. Is that possible? How would you get the phone to send that?

Need Guru Help Regarding Micro-Controller + Wireless

Hello !
What is the most inexpensive, yet stable robust and relatively fast micro-controller + wireless setup?

I have been asking this question to myself for way too long... Now, I'm curious of your experiences in the different flavors available..

In my specific situation talking back and forth to a computer or laptop would be the primary objective.

Bluetooth control from your Android phone or tablet

Hello, I am the author of Mintoris Basic for Android phones and tablets.  I recently added Bluetooth serial communications to the language with the intention of making it very easy to communicate and control robots.

Here is a short example program in Mintoris Basic which connects to a device then transmits data from the phones accelerometer.  So as you tilt the phone or tablet in any direction, the amount of tilt is sent to the Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth module worth keeping?

Well here is the problem, I have a Bluetooth module and I did use it on a previous bot, but it had a library specifically for that module so I was only copying a pasting code to get it working.

$2 Elfish computer "BlueTooth" Upgrade

For the cost of 4 resistors and a $1.80 Bluetooth dongle - your Propeller chip can join the wireless environment.

....again the Propeller chip just bowls me over with its amazing capabilities.....

EDIT :- Now confirmed working with 2$ dealextream Bluetooth Dongle.

Which bluetooth?

So I am planning on going wireless with my robots and I was wondering which one I should buy. I was looking at sparkfun and I found many blutooth. What qualities should I look for are some better than others? Also I intend to use the bluetooth for only about 100-150 ft and I am mostly going to use it for the arduino. This is what I found so far:

Processing talking Bluetooth

Getting Arduino talking through Bluetooth seems like an easy task. There are plenty of tutorials showing you how to do the initial setups and most Bluetooth modules have their own wiki pages + datasheets you can use. It works, you can make the connection, use a terminal software, send packets back and forth. It's all good. Or is it ?

Computer On Wheels Controller

Hi guys,

Since last week, I've been learning c++ and openFrameworks and creating a application to control any robot with a computer on it or, at least connected to one by someway.

It is supposed to be simple to implement and use.
You just need to run the application and program your robot to read the following chars and act corresponding to them:
  • 'w' to move forward;
  • 's' to mo

MY AGV development platform

I decided to do this as a blog as I plan for this to be a long term test platform as I mess around with different tech along the way.

OK I started by buying this RC truck chassis on eBay:

It uses a 7.2v NiMH battery and powers the motor using an ESC that delivers a few AMPs of 6v through a BEC to power a transceiver and the steering servo. Instead of a transceiver, I am hooking up an Arduino Fio and various components, housing them in a project box:
