DIY LED Sign with MAX7219 Dot Matrix Module STM8S003F3 MCU for AVR PIC MSP430 Arduino ARM STM32

To satisfy electronic DIY hobbyists, ICStation has developed MAX7219 Dot Matrix Module. It uses the Max7219 chip which do a great job on saving of MCU I/O. It can not only control each point individually, but also can be extended without limitation to meet your requirements on LED Sign, Team Logo and so on.

Multiple Buttons in MSP430G2553 with asm

Hi

I want to some basic projects with msp430g2553. I bought msp430 launchpad.

and I write some codes.

This is a line follower that uses a MSP430G2553 16 bit microcontroller and a L293d motor driver. There are 5 cny70 analog infrared sensors that feed the value to … Read more

Texas Instruments - long wait times....

So I ordered a couple of the MSP430 LaunchPad boards two weeks ago just to discover they were on back order.  After speaking with someone in support on Monday, TI is fully stocked....just received both boards today :)

Need to find code for msp430 launchpad

this is my fisrt time using launchpad but I've used others microcontrollers before as pic16, pic18, or arduino.

I'm trying to read data from an ultrasonic sensor ping parallax and see it on the computer using USB and also I want to send it using SPI to a transceiver nordic nrf24l01 and in the other transceiver I allready got an arduino.

The full project is a quadcopter that read the distance when it is close to the ground and also I want to use automatic control to keep it in an specific distance no mather what, thanks for the help.

Capacitive touch board for TI Launchpad MSP430

http://e2e.ti.com/group/msp430launchpad/b/boosterpacks/archive/2011/04/17/430boost_2d00_sense1.aspx

Just a note that this is a pretty sweet device and worth it for the price. Hell, the launchpad alone is worth the price considering it's utiility and fun aspect. I picked up two of these and just played around with the default app, when I have more time, hoping to make it useful and do stuff(control motor speed or something like that.)

LaunchPad Impressions

It's nice to see that more people have started to get their LaunchPads.  I've managed to log a few hours now and thought I'd share some of my impressions thus far.
