What does it do?

opens its mouth and bites

My first fully working microcontroller project, just in time for halloween. I got the idea from evil mad scientist labs and then saw BOA's haloween bot challenge, and thought I had to post it here.

It runs from my picaxe 28 board with my new servo upgrade.inside is a servo with a balsa wood arm glued on.

Help with IR Sensor LED020 (UPDATED)

Attached are photos of my circuit on a breadboard.

UPDATE IT WORKS!

I posted a video. Ignore the TV in the background. When the universal remote sends a signal it is decoded by the PICAXE (not done manually I found a setting that the sensor can read and decode itself). A LED flashes to show a signal was read. It then shows the number of the code that was sent in the debug window. In a few days I will delete this post and add a turorial. Then its off to making my robot WOOHOO.

Picaxe 28x1 the full package???

Well I know this had maybe been ask a long time ago so I was wondering where could we get the full package of the picaxe 28x1. This include the USB cord also. I remember seeing I think an UK site that comes with it but show sparkfun doesn't. They actually charge you another $26. That $64 and not including shipping. Seem a bit high to me. Forgot to mention I'm from the U.S.

using single resonator with multiple ic's

hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to use 2 or more picaxe chips, linked to only one resonator, so they keep time together. I was thinking somthing along the lines of this:

What does it do?

simple navigation by proximity check using a sonar

The 2 images below was my first attempt at a robot using fritsl's guide. After my first attempt i felt ashamed of how flimsy and goofy the robot looked.

So I broke it apart and re-did it!
